Soil PH: Alkaline

Alkaline soils (those with a pH above 7) have more phosphorus and potassium than acidic environments. They’re also more hospitable to helpful bacteria, but some plants need more acid to produce healthy fruit. Luckily, many mainstream sulfur amendments can lower your pH quickly.
